Berserk Manga to Resume as Monthly Series

This year’s 14th issue of Hakusensha’s Young Animal magazine is announcing that Kentarou Miura’s Berserk manga will resume in the magazine’s next issue as a monthly series, after a 10-month hiatus. Hakusensha will publish this year’s 15th issue of Young Animal in Japan on July 24, 2015. Miura’s last published a chapter of the manga in Young Animal on September 26, 2014.

Berserk returned to Young Animal in the eighth issue, which was published on April 11, 2014, but then the manga went on hiatus again in June 2014. It returned again in August 2014, and went on hiatus again in September 2014.

Hakusensha published the 37th compiled book volume of Berserk in Japan in March 2013. Dark Horse Comics published the same volume in North America in December 2013. The manga inspired a new movie trilogy from Studio 4°C that VIZ Media released in North America.
