Nelvana has announced that the company is funding two new Beyblade sequel series with production company d-rights, inc.
The first of these series is tentatively titled BeyRaiderz Shogun, and will run for 13 half-hour episodes; this series is scheduled to premiere in Spring 2014. The second series is tentatively titled BeyWarriors Cyborg and will premiere in Fall 2014; this series will feature 26 episodes and two hour-long specials.
In the company’s MIPCOM report, Nelvana stated that it will be releasing the Metal Fight Beyblade Zero-G anime series under the title Beyblade: Shogun Steel as 26 half-hour episodes. The series will be airing on YTV in Canada, on Cartoon Network in the United States, on Nickelodeon in the United Kingdom and Germany, and on Gulli in France.
In addition, the report says a 13-episode second season of the Beywheelz spin-off series will also be released. This spin-off series was created exclusively for the North American version of Beyblade.
