VIZ Media Details October 2014 Update for Its Neon Alley Service

VIZ Media opens October and the Fall 2014 anime season on its FREE Neon Alley media-streaming platform with the announcement of a new monthly update that will add more than 80 exciting episodes for a host of best-loved series to the programming roster throughout the month. Among these are several special simulcast premieres that will stream brand new first-run episodes domestically on the same days as their Japanese counterparts’ broadcast airdates.

Anime fans will not want to miss the subtitled simulcast premiere of two brand new Sailor Moon Crystal episodes (subtitled) on October 4 and 18, 2014, as well as a brand new Naruto Shippuden episode (subtitled) simulcast happening every Thursday. Viz Media has provided an update for their Neon Alley streaming service for September 2014.

Classic episodes of Sailor Moon are being presented as VIZ Media exclusives and available in the U.S. via Neon Alley, Hulu and Hulu Plus. English dubbed episodes 1-4 – featuring the brand new English cast – will be available to stream beginning Friday, September 5, 2014 at 8:00pm (PDT), and episodes 5-23 will debut 12:00am (PDT) September 7, 2014. Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit Is Now on Hulu and Neon Alley

The Fandom Post is reporting that the Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit television anime series is available on both Hulu and Neon Alley with both an English dub and the original Japanese audio.

Hulu Plus subscribers can watch the series in high definition on their TV, mobile devices, and computer.

Viz Media Premieres Blood Lad on Neon Alley and Hulu

Viz Media has made the English dub of all 10 episodes of the Blood Lad television anime series available for a limited time on Neon Alley and on Hulu.

Viz Media is the North American master licensor for the Blood Lad (rated TV-14) anime property. The company also plans to release the entire series for home media in a special Limited Edition Blu-ray/DVD combo-pack, as well as a Standard Edition DVD set on September 2, 2014. Viz Media Premiering Sailor Moon Crystal on Neon Alley and Hulu on July 5, 2014

Viz Media has announced that it will be launching Sailor Moon Crystal, the reboot of the Sailor Moon television anime series, on Neon Alley and on Hulu on July 5, 2014. The series will be debuting simultaneously in North America at the same time as its online streaming premiere in Japan, making a true simultaneous release. Future new episodes (subtitled) will debut in North America and Japan the first and third Saturday of each month.

Sailor Moon Crystal retells the story of Sailor Moon as she searches for her fellow Sailor Guardians and the Legendary Silver Crystal to stop the dark forces of Queen Beryl. Neon Alley Adds Over 100 New Dubbed Anime Episodes

The Fandom Post is reporting that Viz Media’s Neon Alley service has added over 100 new dubbed episodes to its roster.

The following dubbed episodes have been added:

  • All of Bleach Season 2 (Episodes 26-41) [still adding 2 episodes a week from Episode 101]
  • All of Inuyasha Season 2 (Episodes 28-54)
  • All of Death Note Seasons 1 & 2 (Episodes 1-37)

Viz Media’s Neon Alley Launches Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet

Viz Media has announced that the company has added the subtitled version of the Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet television anime series to its new Neon Alley free online streaming platform. For $7.99/month, U.S. fans can also access the series on mobile and digital devices through the subscription-based Hulu Plus Video-on-Demand service. The premiere of the dubbed version will follow later in 2014.

In the distant future, Ledo, a young soldier from space wakes up and finds himself marooned on an ocean planet. Growing up in space, and knowing nothing but battle, he is a stranger in a strange land, full of odd customs and a foreign language, but he’s not alone.
